preparing for your retreat

What to Bring and other Tips:

  • fill in these forms before arrival which help us to optimize your retreat
  • book your choice spa therapies at least 48 hours in advance of arrival
  • bring personal yoga mat, loose comfortable clothing, running shoes, layered clothing for cooler months
  • bathing suit if planning on swimming or using the outdoor Hot & Cold Water Immersion therapy
  • good walking shoes or boots depending on season
  • journal, sketchbook, good book
  • slippers provided, however some guests prefer to bring their own
  • read and follow Grail Springs Peace Intention and respect privacy and peace of other guests
  • photo-taking is permitted with respect for other guests
  • public areas are work free zones - please take cell phone calls in the privacy of your suite only

tips if you are doing a cleanse...

Reduce the following from your diet a few days prior to arrival:

  • animal meat
  • soda pop
  • white sugar
  • white flour products
  • caffeine/coffee
  • alcohol
  • dairy
  • artificial or processed foods

Increase the following into your diet a few day prior to arrival:

  • drink water with lemon juice 
  • herbal teas
  • dark green vegetables
  • fruit each morning
  • homemade vegetable juices
  • barley, oatmeal, chick peas, avocado
  • quinoa, bulgar, lentils, brown rice
  • pumpkin oil, walnut oil, sesame seed oil, hemp see oil, coconut oil
  • hemp, cashew, oat or almond milk
  • take a daily walk, breathe in deeply, and get ready for a life changing event!

Once home consider all of the above and more of the following...

  • adopt a plant-based diet
  • drink a colon cleansing tea monthly
  • weekly detox bath: himalayan salt, epsom salt, sea salt, or dead sea salt
  • weekly energy healing therapy; Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Massage
  • take in fresh air and lots of sunshine
  • steam saunas, dry saunas, FAR infrared saunas
  • yoga, deep breathing, nature walks
  • sleep, naps, meditation and more naps
  • stay positive and optimistic and you'll see and feel a change for the better
